Their diet consists of non-GMO corn, non-GMO sunflower meal (a "byproduct" of Smude's Sunflower Oil), silage, alfalfa/grass, and the minerals necessary for good health.

Do you have available meat all year around?

Accepted Answer

Our cattle are typically up-to-weight and ready by late May through early August. Sometimes a few are also ready in the fall - please contact us for availability.

How much do you get from a quarter beef?

Accepted Answer

You will receive steaks, roasts, and ground beef in a quarter, and all quarters are equal. RJ's Meats will divide a half equally, so each quarter receives equal cuts of everything. What you pick up for a quarter will be around 125-150 pounds and will fill approximately two laundry baskets.
